What are we learning in English?
The children are studying the book 'The Secret of Black Rock' by Jo Todd Stanton. Our class reading book 'The Cloud King' by Michael Morpurgo.

What are we learning in Maths?
We are learning about place value and numbers up to 10,000. We will then use these skills to help with our four calculations.
- What is our project work this term?
The topic this term is 'Misty Mountains and Winding Rivers' The children will be learning about the features of rivers. We will also be learning about rivers around the world and how rivers have changed overtime. We will then learn about mountains. We will study different types of mountains, mountains around the world.
- What reading do Year 3/4 complete?
The children will be heard read individually at least once a week and we expect the children to read at home at least 3 times a week for 10 minutes.
