We provide a creative curriculum based around the  Cornerstones Curriculum, a nationally recognised approach for delivering outstanding learning opportunities for children.

The Cornerstones topics are a creative and thematic approach to learning that is mapped to the 2014 Primary National Curriculum to ensure comprehensive coverage of national expectations. Our curriculum is delivered through imaginative learning projects (ILP) which provide a rich menu of exciting and motivating learning activities that make creative links between all aspects of our children’s learning. We have designed our curriculum by choosing ILPs that meet our students needs and abilities.

Each ILP begins with a 'Hook' day. This is designed to grab the children's interest and excite them about the new project. We have had some fantastic days such as river cruises, farm trips, World War II days, museums to name a few. We then finish each ILP with a 'Fantastic Finish'. This is where the children come together to share their learning through all sorts of exciting opportunities.
