PE Lessons:

Our lessons are led by the class teacher and our PE coordinator oversees these sessions to ensure that they are of a consistenly high quality. A trained Sports Specialist leads PE lessons each week to children in Endeavour Class.

During the winter months the village hall is hired to provide an indoor space.

Additional staff are employed to support PE lessons and ensure access and success for all children.

Swimming:

Children in Key Stage 2 attend swimming lessons  weekly for one term each year.

Forest School:

Forest Schools has been part of the school's sports curriculum for more than two years now and each pupil attends 6 sessions per year with the youngest children attending 12 sessions.  We now have three qualified leaders across the school and are able to offer, therefore, Forest School Clubs and experiences throughout the year.

Yoga:

Children take part in yoga classes, sessions run across the academic year and are developed and adapted to meet the need of children across the year groups.  The yoga sessions are linked to the children's class topic.

PE Trips:

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 travel to Pipers Vale Gymnastics centre in Ipswich to be taught by experienced coaches and to have the opportunity to use full size and professional equipment.  Elite tutors as well as our own qualified staff travel with them so that they can support the pupils, especially those with additional needs.

Clubs:

After school clubs are provided, these have included:
