Aylmerton Updates- Day 4-October 2019
Disco fun!
An early start to catch the boat to see the seals - they didn’t disappoint.
Then a walk through the sand dunes and along the shingle beach to the mud.....
Bare foot we squelched our way through the mud to the water. The water wasn’t that deep this year but gosh was it cold! The gasps from Mr Burlingham behind me suggested that he wasn’t quite prepared for just how cold it was going to be! However, we all made it through and after dinner, and a much needed shower, the evening was rounded off by the much anticipated disco.
Aylmerton Updates- Day 3-October 2019
The morning started off with woodland activities followed by hyde building. In the afternoon it was off to Cromer to do a town trail and visit the life boat museum. They enjoyed dressing up as lifeboat crew.
The day was rounded off with swimming at Splash so at least they are all now clean!
Aylmerton Updates- Day 2-October 2019
Another action packed day started off with team building activities. After lunch it was off on a monster trail around the Felbrigg estate. They had to navigate carefully to find the clues to their challenge and watch out for monsters on the route.
In the evening they were enthralled by a story teller.
(Apologies for the angle of the photos!)
Aylmerton Updates-October 2019
An enjoyable first day at Aylmerton. We arrived safely and once settled in to our rooms the children took part in a few ice breaking games.
Then it was lunch and off to West Runton to explore the rock pools. Crabs and water snails galore. This was followed by a lovely long walk along to Cromer to catch the coach back to Aylmerton.
After a dinner of pizza it was wrap up warm time again before heading out for a twilight safari.
We must have succeeded in tiring them out as they settled down quite quickly for the first night. Hopefully this will continue!
