Thorndon's Curriculum Impact

Each individual child at Thorndon Primary school believes in themselves and achieves good progress in relation to the National Curriculum, as-well as developing academically, emotionally, creatively, socially and physically.

Children’s skills, understanding and knowledge are embedded and will support them throughout life and help them achieve. They take pride in everything they do and strive to do their best. They are resilient and persevere, throughout all challenges.

The children become determined learners by embedding the ‘Rainbow Values’ in their learning.  This empowers them and develops the skills to succeed.

Children believe in themselves and are confident in their abilities. Our children are responsible, cooperative, friendly, kind, honest and respectful. Our children are inclusive and understand their role as a citizen of the world.
